Our Story

The Jagger Affect was established in memory of our beautiful boy, Jagger James.

Although our story has began from the tragic loss of our son, it has evolved into our greater purpose, to inspire not just our young family, but to also help others who are tragically grieving the loss of a child.

We’re a young family based in Mildura, Victoria. Before having children. I (Bec) worked primarily in community services doing a variety of things over the years. I've always been driven by making a positive difference in the lives of those less fortunate, working on a number of community projects.

Scott, my husband is a refrigeration and air conditioning mechanic and together we own a local refrigeration business. As a family, we've established The Jagger Affect.

We take pride in producing high quality casual wear that is made ethically and sustainably using 100% Australian cotton.

Our Jagger's favourite colours were purple and blue, which is why you see these colours all over our website, branding, and clothing. His love for superheroes will continue to be a feature throughout our brand story - keep your eye's peeled for where you might find it!

At our core, The Jagger Affect was created as a way to raise funds to help other families also experiencing the traumatic loss of a child.

Proceeds from the sale of our clothing will go towards establishing a charity which will support local families who experience the traumatic loss of a child when no other financial help is available. Although no amount of money can ever dull the pain these families will feel, it is our hope to lighten the burden & let these families know their child is not forgotten & neither is their grief.

We know there’s nothing that can bring Jagger back, but we can keep his memory and essence alive with The Jagger Affect. And we know that helping other families is the big reason that Jagger was put on this earth.

Meaningful casual wear

All of our products are sold with a single intention — for the establishment of our charity, The Jagger Affect. All of the proceeds from the sale of our clothing goes towards creating this charity, after which all proceeds will be distributed to families suffering financial stress due to the traumatic loss of a child.

All our clothing is made with 100% Australian cotton with a mix of garments made in Vietnam & right here in Australia which is certified by Cotton Australia. We are proud of being a part of the Australian made fashion industry, supporting Australian farmers and workers.
